First of all, congratulations for enrolling in Andy Hill's class!
We’re very excited about this course and we’re so happy to have you on board.
Course Structure
Andy had a very clear idea of how the materials should be presented. The final product is a very dynamic, to the point, and Shorter Version of the course than what we initially planned.
Still, every word of Andy's work has great value and we couldn't cut some scenes and take them away from you forever! :)
So we've presented the course in two versions. The first is more dynamic and goes to the point. But we have also included an 'Extended Version' or 'director's cut' of the course so to speak.
The second version touches on some topics that are not included in the short version and goes more in-depth on some of them.
The Short Version is presented in the form of four longer videos:
- John Powell’s How to Train Your Dragon
- Danny Elfman’s Alice in Wonderland
- Alberto Iglesias’ The Skin I Live In
- James Newton Howard’s The Sixth Sense
If you want to get the whole thing down under 90 minutes, watch these four videos. You'll find them under the 'Andy Hill Scoring The Screen Course Under 90 Minutes' module.
The Short Version starts with the 'John Powell's How to Train Your Dragon' video
Before you get started, make sure to watch the Welcome Message and the Analysis Style videos.
The Extended Version is presented in course style, organized in lessons and topics.
If you don't want to miss a single detail of the entire Andy Hill class, if you want to find the easter eggs hidden in this course, then you want to watch the Extended Version is the one you want to watch.
The Short Version starts here.
Depending on your learning style, you can choose to watch one or the other (or both).
