Compose a 1-2 minutes piece applying all the concepts that we learned in this lesson. Choose any style that you want, but make sure that you’re using all the orchestral families, including percussion. In other words, don’t just load a ukulele and loop four chords!

Do not set up a template yet. We’ll be doing that next week.

Do not mix or master the piece. Produce the cue in your sequencer. Make sure to write good dynamics. Apply some subtle panning. Concentrate your efforts in a good arrangement, well orchestrated and good layer distribution, as well as realistic balance. Also, insert an EQ to every channel/instrument and cut those unwanted frequencies that will avoid ruining your mix with muddy sound.

When done, export the track to a good quality mp3 file and upload it.
